BoxPlayer is a multi-functional video player for macOS users.

Supporting common and highly compatible video formats such as MP4, MKV, M4V, and MOV. It allows playback of local files, cloud videos, and media server content without conversion. The software supports HDR, Dolby Vision, and spatial audio, and offers features such as smooth playback, precise progress control, subtitle management, dual subtitles, audio track selection, picture-in-picture, and playback speed adjustment. It can connect to media servers such as Emby, Jellyfin, and Plex, and is compatible with SMB, WebDAV, and AList. It also integrates with various cloud storage services including Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Box, Baidu Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, 115, and 123. Built-in TMDB metadata service automatically retrieves movie posters, actor information, introductions, and category content to help organize local and cloud media libraries. It also supports Trakt synchronization of viewing history, NFO metadata, playback caching, IPTV, subtitles, and Blu-ray ISO videos. The clean and elegant interface, combined with an immersive media library, filtering and sorting, favorites, and viewing status management, allows Mac users to centrally access video content from different sources.
