Core Tunnel

Core Tunnel is an SSH tunneling management tool for macOS.

Compatible with OpenSSH, helping developers, operations personnel, and remote users centrally establish, monitor, and maintain port forwarding connections. The software supports local port forwarding, remote port forwarding, Core Tunnel and dynamic port forwarding, and utilizes common capabilities such as proxy redirection, SSH certificates, and proxy forwarding, adapting to scenarios such as intranet access, remote debugging, database connections, and secure proxies. It integrates tightly with macOS Keychain, securely saving the passphrases required for connections and reducing the need to repeatedly enter sensitive credentials. The advanced options editor allows configuring SSH commands for different hosts, with contextual help explaining the meaning of parameters. In the event of a network interruption or when the Mac resumes from sleep, the automatic reconnection mechanism attempts to restore existing tunnels. Users can also directly view status and control connections via menu bar icons without leaving the current workspace. The tagging feature facilitates organizing large numbers of hosts and tunnels, while import/export, automatic synchronization, and AppleScript and Automator automation support further meet the needs of cross-device management, configuration migration, and scripted workflows.
