DockGroups

DockGroups is a Dock application organization and workflow launcher for macOS users.

It allows you to create application groups based on projects, tasks, or usage scenarios, categorizing commonly used software like VS Code, Terminal, Chrome, Slack, Figma, and Notion into modes such as Development, Design, Meetings, and Focused Work. Users can open all applications in a group with a single click via the Dock, menu bar, or keyboard shortcuts, and batch exit or hide related programs after work, quickly restoring a clean desktop. The software offers an independent instance mode, allowing you to create lightweight windows and custom Dock icons for each group, facilitating long-term, consistent use; the dynamic Most Used group automatically sorts applications based on launch frequency, requiring no manual maintenance. DockGroups runs natively on SwiftUI, without replacing the system Dock or requiring additional system permissions; data is always stored locally. It is compatible with both Apple Silicon and Intel processors, supporting macOS 14 Sonoma, macOS 15 Sequoia, and macOS 26 Tahoe.
