Ember: Journal & Life Archive is a personal journaling tool that combines a diary.

With a personal memory archive, available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. When writing about your daily life, simply mention someone in your text, and related content will be compiled onto their profile page, gradually revealing shared experiences, when you met them, and your connection history. You can also organize people by family, work, or school circles, and record life chapters spanning many years with stories. Dynamic reviews will revisit old memories on appropriate dates and gently remind you to reach out to people you haven’t contacted in a while. Ember The software offers a calendar, maps, and relationship graphs to help you navigate life segments by date, location, and relationship network, and supports searching text within entire archives and photos. You can add photos, videos, voice memos, Apple Music songs, and weather, and also import Day One, Apple Journal, and contact information. Ember Your journal is stored on your device and can be locked with Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode, and privately synced via your personal iCloud account; content can be exported at any time, and the journal text is not read or generated by AI.
