Glasscribe is a real-time local speech-to-text tool designed for Mac, perfectly capturing every voice and instantly converting it into text.

Users can add subtitles to YouTube videos in real-time, transcribe Zoom meeting content, or dictate with voice and automatically paste into any app, all from the privacy of their device, without the need for an internet connection. Glasscribe leverages Mac’s Neural Engine for fully local processing, supports system audio capture, and directly transcribes any audio played on Mac, including meetings, podcasts, and video streams, without the need for any browser extension or virtual audio driver.

The software offers real-time translation capabilities, allowing users to transcribe in one language while reading in another, allowing for a seamless experience across languages. Floating overlays allow transcribed text to be overlaid on top of any app, allowing you to drag and adjust transparency, font size, and display duration at will, greatly improving ease of use. All transcription sessions are automatically saved and searchable, and the history is retained after the app is restarted, and it has an automatic copy and paste function that instantly inserts text into the current cursor position.

Glasscribe supports more than 22 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Cantonese, etc., and new languages will be automatically recognized with Apple system updates. Compared to traditional cloud services, Glasscribe has extremely low latency and processing speed 3.8 times faster than keyboard input, allowing professionals to use it to record meetings, voice input ideas and specifications during programming, and read translated text in real time when watching foreign language lectures, ensuring privacy, security, efficiency, and accuracy.
