HoudahGeo is a photo and video geotagging tool for macOS.

That directly writes longitude, latitude, and altitude to media files, preserving shooting locations for easy organization, retrieval, and sharing across applications. The software supports importing track records from GPX, NMEA, Garmin FIT, and other formats, automatically matching locations based on shooting time. Users can also manually specify coordinates using location-enabled reference photos, built-in maps, or Google Earth. Users can supplement city, province, and country names via reverse geocoding and edit titles, descriptions, keywords, and information such as temperature, humidity, and diving depth. HoudahGeo supports JPEG, various RAW formats, and supported video formats, processing JPEG and RAW pairs as a single project. It is compatible with XMP appendages and does not require recompressing media when writing metadata. It works with Apple Photos and Adobe Lightroom and notifies Apple Photos to update location information. Trip logs can also be exported as KML, KMZ, or CSV for easy viewing of shooting routes on a map. Version 7 adds video geotagging, camera time setting tools, and an improved map interface, and natively supports Apple Silicon.
