JoyMix

JoyMix is a menu-bar audio mixing tool designed specifically for Mac.

Focusing on managing sounds, devices, and routes individually by application. It lets you set volume and mute for each running app, assign apps like YouTube, Zoom, Spotify, Slack to different speakers, headphones, or virtual devices, and switch microphones, system output, and system sound devices directly from the menu bar. For small podcasts or recordings, JoyMix can also raise the volume of individual apps above the system limit and includes protection mechanisms to prevent distortion. Settings are automatically remembered, so you can still use them the next time you open the app; Uncustomized programs continue through the native macOS channel, hardly changing system habits and reducing unnecessary intervention, making it suitable for daily office and creative environments that require handling meetings, media playback, and multiple audio channels simultaneously.
