Kaset

Kaset is a native macOS YouTube Music client developed using Swift and SwiftUI.

Its key features include providing an Apple Music-like user interface combined with a liquid glass player bar and clean side navigation. At the same time, Kaset supports YouTube Music Premium, allowing users to play DRM-protected content through their existing subscriptions.

It features system integrations such as displaying current content in the Control Center, media key support, and Dock menu control. In addition, Kaset provides haptic feedback to improve the user’s experience on the powerful touch trackpad and notify users in time when new tracks are played.

Music continues to play even when the window is closed, automatically stopping when you exit the app. Use keyboard shortcuts to fully control playback, navigation, and other operations; Users can also discover new releases, charts, and music in different styles and moods, as well as browse and listen to podcasts with progress tracking.

Kaset supports browsing users’ playlists, favorite songs, and subscribed podcasts, and quickly finds songs, albums, artists, playlists, and podcasts through powerful search functions. In-app AI enables natural language commands, lyric interpretation, and playlist optimization, and users can also view lyrics with AI analysis and sentiment analysis, manage playback queues, and share songs, playlists, albums, and artists through the macOS native sharing panel, while supporting direct opening of songs through specific URL schemes.
