KORG Software ARP 2600

The KORG Software ARP 2600 is a high-restoration software reproduction of the legendary semi-modular synthesizer ARP 2600.

Using KORG’s proprietary Component Modeling Technology (CMT) to finely reconstruct oscillator waveforms, filter characteristics, subtle nonlinearity behavior of envelopes and LFOs, and panel wiring logic; Users can wire the original Patch Book and get the same sound performance as the hardware. The software retains the original layout and many quirky features while adding modern expansions, including switchable 4012/4072 filters, KORG Software ARP 2600 secondary filtering and driver saturation, new modulation sources and independent envelopes, a powerful step sequencer, up to 16 polyphony, and extensive MIDI and DAW plug-in compatibility. Engineers have restored classic weight and vibrancy through oscilloscope calibration and extensive detail fine-tuning, anti-aliasing treatment, and component difference simulation, while providing Trim Pots calibration, sound fine-tuning, and a variety of modern normal connections for flexible use in contemporary production processes.
