MacMD Viewer is a native Markdown reader for macOS.

Designed specifically for reading .md files generated by ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, and various AI programming tools. It renders Markdown like a PDF into a clear document, supporting title hierarchies, tables, code blocks, directory sidebars, and multiple document themes, so users don’t have to check the original syntax in the editor. The software can be registered as .md file opening by default, allowing double-click to read, or a quick preview with space pressing in Finder’s QuickLook app. It has built-in Mermaid chart rendering capabilities, allowing direct display of flowcharts, chronological charts, Gantt charts, and more, without the need for plugins or uploading to GitHub. The real-time reload feature monitors file changes, quickly refreshing previews after AI tools or editors save content, making it ideal for continuous viewing of generated results, technical documentation, project descriptions, and code snippets.
