MicSwap

MicSwap is a microphone modeling and recording tool for macOS.

iPhone, and iPad, turning your device into a portable sound studio suitable for podcast production, singing, film and television dubbing, game commentary, interview recording, and creative drafting. The software includes a variety of classic microphone models, covering podcast microphones, shotgun microphones, lavalier microphones, ribbon microphones, and vintage radio microphones. Users can switch models before and after recording to create different timbres, senses of distance, and vintage atmospheres for the same sound. It can directly record WAV or M4A audio, and can also import existing materials for processing, providing functions such as input gain adjustment, real-time monitoring, clip trimming, reverb, delay, and studio environment switching. Recordings can be categorized using color tags and sorted by date, title, duration, microphone used, or color, making it easy to manage large numbers of projects. MicSwap supports external microphones and audio interfaces, and can be used as an AUv3 audio plugin in music applications such as GarageBand, FL Studio, Auria, and Cubasis, and is also compatible with Audiobus and IAA workflows. The completed content can be exported as MP3, video, or short video materials of different qualities and played via AirPlay; the recordings can also be sent to MicSwap Remix for track separation, mixing, and new layer recording, covering the complete sound processing workflow from acquisition, shaping, editing to sharing.
