PeekX

PeekX is a native macOS Quick View extension that provides instant viewing of folder contents, including file count, size statistics, and detailed folder analysis.

The app adds Markdown preview support in version 1.1, allowing users to view .md files directly in Quick View and improving the speed of folder previews. Users can simply select a folder in Finder and press the space bar to view the full folder analysis information.

PeekX is designed with a modern interface, low resource usage, and is compatible with Apple Silicon and Intel processors. The app is completely open-source, users can download and use it for free, and the developers want to support the further development of the project with a user’s star.
