PiPanel Pro

PiPanel Pro is an interactive picture-in-picture tool designed for Macs.

With Apple Silicon chips running macOS 14 Sonoma or later. It transforms a running macOS window into a floating, interactive mini-window, rather than a static screenshot or a viewable mirror image. Videos, terminals, chat content, PiPanel Pro and task progress within the window continuously refresh. Users can click, scroll, use shortcuts and keyboard input within the picture-in-picture, and select windows via the menu bar or quickly create a picture-in-picture by throwing the window to the screen edge. The software supports cross-space full-screen application coverage, PiPanel Pro multi-window stacking and expansion, automatic edge snapping, drag-and-drop resizing, and appearance settings such as frame rate, clarity, rounded corners, shadows, and borders. It also provides floating playback control for Apple Music, Spotify, QQ Music, NetEase Cloud Music, Kugou, and Kuwo, and can match the lyrics libraries of NetEase Cloud Music and QQ Music to display synchronized lyrics line by line. Videos in browsers such as Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Arc, and Zen, as well as Bilibili, IINA, and QuickTime, can also be paused directly. PiPanel supports startup, global keyboard shortcuts, automation, and local processing. It requires screen recording and accessibility permissions. Its core implementation is open on GitHub and is suitable for Mac users who need to continuously monitor data, communications, media, or work progress.
