Reaper Monitor

Reaper Monitor is a process and system resource monitoring software designed specifically for macOS.

It continuously records computer activity in the background and supports backtracking up to 24 hours of historical data, allowing users to retrieve the process state at the time of a sudden increase in CPU or memory usage. Users can drag the timeline to return to a specific point in the past and view the process list, CPU cores, threads, memory mappings, and other readings. Even if the relevant process has exited, the root cause of the fluctuation can be located. All historical information is saved locally and remains available after the software is restarted. The search supports multiple criteria such as process name, port, executable file path, startup parameters, and PID, helping to find programs consuming local services even when the process name is unknown. The list can be paused on hover for automatic reordering or manually locked to keep readings refreshed while maintaining a stable line position for careful reading. Users can also pin important processes to the top of the list and the menu bar panel for continuous monitoring.
