Remotr is a native RDP server tool for macOS that transforms a Mac running macOS 13 Ventura or later.

Into a Microsoft Remote Desktop compatible remote desktop host, allowing Windows 10/11 PCs, as well as iOS, Android, and other devices that support the official remote desktop client to connect directly. No additional Remotr installation is required on the connecting end; simply enter the Mac’s LAN IP address to begin control. The software is based on the standard MS-RDP protocol, supports bitmap, H.264 hardware encoding, and RemoteFX streaming, and automatically adjusts resolution and scaling based on the screen and device, delivering clear visuals and low latency. It also provides full keyboard and mouse mapping, two-way clipboard, text and file transfer, audio, microphone, camera, printer, drive, and resource sharing capabilities. Remotr uses macOS account authentication, TLS 1.2/1.3 encryption, keychain, and automatic certificate protection for connections, supports privacy screen lock, and keeps all traffic within the local network. The native menu bar interface, automatic language recognition, Universal Binary, optional and de-identified fault reports, and Sparkle automatic updates make remote work, cross-device maintenance, and remote Mac access more convenient.
