Description

Snick is a scrolling feedback enhancement tool that resides in the macOS menu bar.

Available on macOS 14 and above. It synchronizes with deep, textured mechanical clicks as users scroll through pages, lists, or documents, and triggers realistic haptic feedback via a Force Touch-enabled trackpad, making every scroll feel like a finely tuned physical scale. The software offers seven hand-tuned sound styles, including crisp scale, vinyl tick, wood tap, rubber rebound, and more. Users can choose the tone and volume according to their personal preferences. Snick can sense scrolling speed; slow scrolling retains clear frame-by-frame feedback, while fast scrolling through long pages creates a smooth, coherent sound flow. It requires no complicated installation or account; it runs after granting accessibility permissions, and updates are automatically received via Sparkle. Overall, it is lightweight, quiet, and focused on enhancing the immersive experience of Mac scrolling.
