Snippety is a text expansion and snippet management tool for macOS and Apple’s multi-device ecosystem.

It centrally saves frequently repetitive email replies, document paragraphs, code snippets, development scripts, marketing materials, and work templates, and allows for quick expansion via keywords, search, or a dedicated keyboard to insert them into any text box. Conditional blocks can dynamically show or hide content based on input results, making it suitable for creating structured templates such as work orders, medical records, and customer service replies. The built-in AI assistant can perform generation, rewriting, and processing tasks based on selected text or clipboard content, and also supports custom or self-hosted services compatible with the OpenAI interface. Snippets can be synced between Mac, iPhone, and iPad via iCloud and can be set to read-only or edit permissions using Apple’s native collaboration mechanisms. The application also supports shortcuts, share menus, tag filtering, more than fifty syntax highlighting options, and RTF, HTML, Markdown, and image content. The interface is clean and simple in light and dark modes, making it suitable for office workers, developers, and content creators who need to reduce repetitive data entry and standardize content formatting.
