TabBarForWord is a native window tabbing tool for macOS.

that adds a clear tab bar to multi-document workflows with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. It displays a lightweight tab bar above the currently focused Office window, listing open Word documents, Excel workbooks, and PowerPoint presentations separately. Switching between tabs is as simple as clicking a tab, eliminating the need to repeatedly open the Window menu, use Mission Control, or search through long lists. The tab bar only appears when the relevant Office application is in the foreground, moves and resizes with the window, and remains non-overlapping on hover. TabBarForWord A drag-and-drop control on the right allows you to adjust the width as needed. The software runs from the menu bar, does not occupy the Dock, and does not modify the Office suite. Optional login-based startup and shortcut-based hiding/showing are supported. It only reads the name of the currently open file and responds to switching operations; it does not open, read, or modify file content, and does not require account login. It is compatible with Apple Silicon and Intel Macs and offers English, German, Spanish, and Hebrew interfaces with corresponding right-to-left layouts.
