Via

Via: Compare Routes is a door-to-door travel planner and route comparison tool for Mac and iPad.

Ideal for organizing multiple travel options for complex journeys after checking transportation information such as flights, trains, ferries, buses, and taxis. It’s not a transportation search engine, but rather calculates the combination of various transportation segments based on manually entered costs and times, including round-trip tickets and combination tickets for comparison, helping to determine the actual cost of the complete route. Via The software includes the cost and time of connecting flights to airports or stations in the entire journey, and combines public transportation availability times and custom transfer buffers to mark routes that cannot be actually completed. For the same journey, users can create alternative routes with different entry and exit cities, airports, and itinerary sequences, name them, and view their ranking side-by-side. When fares change, simply update the relevant data to recalculate and adjust the order of the routes, without having to plan from scratch. The application requires no account registration, Via does not track data, and the entered content is stored locally and will not leave the device unless actively exported. The Mac version requires macOS 14.0 or later, and the interface language is English.
