Vidarium is a professional video collection management tool, hailed as the Lightroom of the video world.

It’s designed for users with a large collection of videos who don’t want to rely on media servers or cloud storage. The application prioritizes local storage, ensuring files remain where you placed them, never copied to a hidden database, and never tampering with original footage. It offers fast thumbnails and hover-to-scrub-and-preview functionality, supports hierarchical folders, tags, people, collections, and intelligent search. The hierarchical structure can be mirrored to disk or managed purely within the application. Vidarium Tags, people, and collections can be cross-organized, a rule editor drives advanced search, star ratings and details allow for more detailed organization, and drag-and-drop import from Finder is straightforward. Vidarium A customizable player can play in grid or full-screen mode, glass controls appear as needed, and scrub-and-preview functionality, speed adjustment, AirPlay, and related video recommendations are supported. On-device AI suggests tags and people based on filenames and metadata; Apple Intelligence devices use on-device models, ensuring data never leaves the device. It natively supports Mac, iPad, and iPhone, and allows multiple library windows to be opened. Advanced features include iCloud library syncing, access to any folder library, automatic AI tagging, webpage renaming correction, Mac video resizing and metadata editing, and include Face and Touch ID privacy locks and sharing extensions. Videos are retained intact after app deletion; there are no servers, no forced accounts, and no tracking.
