Description

Vitals is a system resource monitoring tool for macOS.

Serving as an alternative to an activity monitor for everyday use. It aggregates statistics for applications and their auxiliary processes, providing a clear view of each application’s CPU, memory, power consumption, disk, and network usage, helping to pinpoint the sources of lag, overheating, and power consumption. The software supports customizable menu bar readings and charts, saves up to one year of local history, and sends notifications when applications experience sustained high load, memory increases, or abnormal disk and network activity. For development scenarios, Vitals organizes development servers and ports by project, marks idle services, displays Docker container resource usage, tracks programming agent sessions and their launched child processes, and provides information on remaining quota, reset time, and token usage for AI solutions. It includes a built-in MCP service and command-line tools, allowing users to query system status using Claude, Codex, Cursor, or scripts. Vitals It also integrates monitoring of standalone application volume, temperature and fan speed, battery health, Bluetooth device power, GPU, and neural engine performance. Run logs are saved locally, requiring confirmation before exiting applications or services. It supports Simplified Chinese and is compatible with Apple chips and Intel Macs on macOS 15 and later.
