VMPal Virtual Machines
Information

Description
VMPal is an Apple silicon Mac virtualization software developed by the TablePlus team.
It supports macOS 26 and later, allowing macOS, Windows 11, and various Linux distributions to run on the same Mac. The software uses Apple’s virtualization framework for macOS and Linux, provides a custom engine for Windows, and offers Metal, Direct3D 11, or OpenGL 4.1 graphics acceleration for different systems, supporting up to 5K Retina displays. Users can choose to automatically download and install the system version, or create virtual machines using existing IPSW or ISO files. Daily operations support two-way clipboard, drag-and-drop files, shared folders, port forwarding, and adjusting disk and network settings during runtime. Virtual disks, cloning, and snapshots use space-saving storage methods for easy migration, copying, and quick rollback. Each virtual machine also has an independent Dock icon and audio permission control. For AI agents, VMPal provides built-in MCP integration, allowing agents to view screens, operate desktops, and execute commands in an independent virtual environment. It also helps reduce the impact of task trial runs with snapshots and supports importing existing virtual machines from Parallels.
