TickerNotch: Live Market is a real-time information and market data tool for macOS.

That transforms the previously unused pixelated area next to the MacBook’s notch into a continuously visible information bar. TickerNotch It also supports simulated TickerNotch on notchless Macs and external displays. Users can simply enter stock, index, ETF, futures, or cryptocurrency codes in the search box to view real-time quotes; entering a city provides temperature, high and low temperatures, wind chill, probability of rain, rainfall, UV index, and wind speed; entering social media account identifiers allows tracking the number of followers or subscribers on YouTube, GitHub, Twitch, Bluesky, and Mastodon. The software simultaneously displays CPU load, memory usage, network download and upload speeds, and supports independent configuration of news feeds, breaking news keywords, and alert sources on both sides. Quotes can be pinned to the menu bar, and clicking on them displays details, intraday highs and lows, or historical readings. Traders can also enter positions, directly view real-time profit and loss amounts, use candlestick charts including moving averages, Bollinger Bands, RSI, MACD, Supertrend, and volume distribution, and set native macOS price notifications. The application is developed using Swift and SwiftUI, requires no account, does not collect data, and the data is obtained directly from the Mac.
