Thanks for upload – works great, looks great.. now it’s just a matter of will I play it or not?

  2. admin says:

v2.4 is not completely patched as GameCenter DRM can cause the game to freeze on a black screen.
Unless someone release a fix, in order to use this version you must disable your existing GameCenter account first ( > System Preferences > Internet Accounts) and reject login at launch.

Guys i found a fix if you stuck at apple arcade and black screen first of all force quit the oceanhorn 2 app then open system preference and click internet account and remove game center account(vvi) now launch the game if it prompt to sign in don’t sign in. Then it will work. It will ask you to sign in every time you launch the game don’t sign in.

    Downloads ok
    Install ok
Running on a MacBook (2017) with 2.9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, not ok

Boots up but that’s as far as I seem to get. I did get to the developer logo but then it just hangs. Tried again and the application freezes and I have to CMD/OPT/ESC to force quit.

    Shame 🙁

dequarantine! open terminal, type “xattr -cr” followed by a blank space, then drag the game into terminal’s window and press enter!

Not sure if you’re going to see this but I was having the same problem and noticed it only really happens when our apple ID connects to the game. So I looked up apps that prevent specific apps from connecting to the internet and installed Lulu (I tried turning off my wifi and that didn’t seem to work)

After installing Lulu, choose the apple tab, look for gamed and under gamed you should see any address: any port.
Right click that, edit rule, change from allow to block and then update. (you can change this at any time later if you want to)

Open the game and they will ask you if you want to login with your ID or another one, I chose to use another ID and then cancelled. After that they warn you that your saves will be local only and that’s it. The game worked fine.

Thanks for the tip. I had an older version of Lulu not showing ‘any address: any port’ and simply blocking gamed from accessing the net did not work, but after updating Lulu to latest build and rebooting it went smoothly and this way there’s no need to disable Game Center account.
